The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at McMaster University conducts research in a wide variety of areas in order to improve patient care and increase the obstetrical and gynecological knowledge bases. Faculty in the department pursue research in the areas of basic biomedical issues, clinical biomedical issues, education (at trainee and interprofessional levels), medical decision making, health care delivery, health policy, diagnostics, and risk factors for future illness or disease.
