The Purpose of the Fund has been expanded in 2015 to include support of a Canadian physician wishing or currently working with under serviced Canadian populations with the intention of publishing on this population and work. Priority is given to the following:
– practitioners working to improve National and International maternal mortality
– practitioners working to improve newborn health
– practitioners working to improve aboriginal health as it relates to maternal fetal medicine
– practitioners working towards improvement of nutrition in pregnancy, post partum and for babies

A maximum of 2 awards will be distributed per calendar year. Fund provision will be determined by the review committee based on the project. $1000 will be provided to the applications affiliated Canadian institution.  This is a rolling application process. Incomplete applications will be disregarded. A committee, formed by the CFWH Chair will review all applications.
